Lesson 63: Creating Video Scripts, Storyboards, and Voiceover Plans

A video script is not an article with line breaks. It must coordinate visuals, voice, pacing, emotion, and platform constraints.

Skills Used

Search skills.lc for video, script, storyboard, or voice. In this environment, use documents for scripts, imagegen for storyboard references, sag or sherpa-onnx-tts for voice tests, and browser for research.

Workflow

Define the video goal first: education, sales, tutorial, opinion, or product demo. The goal determines the hook and call to action.

Create the structure: hook in the first seconds, evidence or steps in the middle, and a clear ending. Short videos cannot afford slow setup.

Build a shot list. Each shot should include visual content, voiceover, caption, duration, asset source, and production notes.

Finally, read the voiceover aloud, estimate duration, remove repeated shots, and check factual or platform-sensitive claims.

Exercise

Ask OpenClaw to create a 60-second video script, 10-shot storyboard, and cover copy for “What Is a Skill?”

A good script keeps viewers moving from one reason to watch to the next.
