Lesson 62: Managing Calendars, Reminders, and Tasks with OpenClaw

Calendar management is not about filling every slot. It is about turning commitments into reliable reminders and traceable tasks.

Skills Used

Search skills.lc for calendar, reminder, todo, or task. In this environment, use gog for Google Calendar and Gmail, apple-reminders for Apple Reminders, things-mac for Things 3, and trello for team boards.

Workflow

Extract actionable items first: owner, action, deadline, dependency, and definition of done. “Follow up next week” is not enough.

Choose the right destination. Fixed-time events go to calendars. Work items go to task tools. Collaborative work goes to a board. Recurring checks become automations.

Add source context to every task: meeting name, email subject, link, or decision record.

Human Review

Changing someone else’s calendar, sending invitations, deleting tasks, or moving deadlines should require confirmation.

Exercise

Give OpenClaw meeting notes and ask it to create calendar events, reminders, and a recurring follow-up task.

A good system does not remind you that you are busy. It prevents commitments from disappearing.
